The Youth Council members assist in fulfilling SNHEP's vision to empower Hispanics in promoting higher education, community involvement, cultural awareness, and leadership development. We need new members, community leaders to serve as mentors, sponsors, and facilitators.
Youth Council members and Advisors meet every 2nd Friday of each month, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the City Impact Center, located at 950 E. Sahara Avenue, LV 89104 (One block East of Commercial Center Drive. Park in rear of building and use rear entrance). Meetings subject to change if a training or event is planned in the same week. Meetings are lead by the Youth Officers and consist of but not limited to: general business, leadership training, education and/or career mentorship guest presentations, planning and participation of community volunteer projects, fundraiser activities to benefit the SNHEP scholarship program and enjoy fun incentive activities for their hard work and dedication to the community.

The scheduled meeting dates are 2nd Friday of every month, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the City Impact Center, located at 950 E. Sahara Avenue, LV 89104 (park in rear of building and use rear entrance).
Meetings will consist of general business meeting items, a Leadership Academy Workshop per month and in addition, possibly a Community Project/Event and/or Incentive Activities.
Workforce Leadership Summit is presented by SNHEP Youth Council, Latino Townhall, and College of Southern Nevada. Supported by various sponsors.

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Live Entertainment, Food and Fun for the entire family. To be held once again in fabulous Downtown Las Vegas, 416 North 7th Street, under the 95 freeway Bridge - between Bonanza & Stewart. CCARS is presented by SNHEP Youth Council and National Latino Peace Officers Association (NLPOA). Supported by various sponsors.
